About Me

My name is William Bracken, an experienced and driven leader in Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering with over 25 years of IT experience in small and large enterprise environments. I am passionate about what I do and have an extensive background in endpoint architecture, security, design and implementation, advanced OS provisioning, automated software delivery and lifecycle management, and advanced infrastructure automation.

As a founding partner a decade ago at Model Technology Solutions, we established a Microsoft Gold Partner consulting and managed services organization that continues to thrive today. As leaders of the organization, we stood on the principals of “delivery first”, separating us from the typical “sales first” consulting organizations that I had firsthand experience in hiring in my years in corporate America. We built the organization from the ground up, starting with 3 IT engineers, growing it to a 20+ person organization that delivered services to companies worldwide. I played a foundational role in developing go-to-market solutions and building the UEM as a Service (UEMaaS) practice, leveraging my 20 years of experience in managing corporate endpoints, that brought continuous unified endpoint engineering services to customers. As practice owner and lead architect, I recruited and mentored junior and senior level engineers to deliver unwavering customer service and technical expertise resulting in over 50,000 endpoints being managed daily.

After a decade and a lot of deep thought, I realized my career wasn’t giving me that spark or satisfaction. So, I decided it was time for a change—to seek out a new organization where I can put my leadership and tech skills to work, somewhere that’s both rewarding and keeps me on my toes.

Stepping away from a successful company that I helped build from scratch wasn’t easy. It was a tough call, but in the end, it felt right. Now, I’m all geared up for a thrilling new chapter ahead! I wish all my dear friends at Model Technology Solutions continued success!

I reside the greater St. Louis, Missouri area where I was born and raised.

I am married to my middle school sweetheart and have been happily married with 2 beautiful children for over 25 years.

When not working, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, watching movies, reading books, and spending time with close friends (many of whom I have met throughout my career).
